Can no longer find drivers for my HP laptop Pavilion G6 series on the HP website

My Bluetooth is showing a triangle with an exclamation point in Device Manager. I want to reinstall the driver but can't find any on the HP website. I don't trust 3rd party websites. It may be on their FTP site but unless I know the exact file name, there is no way to access it.  Anyone know how I can get my hands on this driver? I tried the Microsoft update website :https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=ar3011  but my computer keeps warning me that the file being downloaded is a virus.

Hi:

Your notebook is not supported by HP for W10, so there wouldn't be any W10 drivers to download for it from HP.

If your notebook has the Atheros wifi card with the AR3011 BT, see if this W10 driver works for it.

It would be very helpful to me  if you explained  how you were able to access the HP FTP site?

HP retired support for your notebook's model series, since it is more than 10 years old.

The W10 driver I gave you was from the HP 650 G1 business class notebook which has W10 drivers.

The W10 Atheros Bluetooth driver was the only place I knew of to find it.

Accessing the HP FTP site is of no use to you unless you know the file number(s) of the driver(s) you are looking for.

You have to use Internet Explorer to open the site link or Edge in Internet Explorer mode.
