Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I'm writting in the hope's Of finding out where to connect the hard drive cable to my Hp Pavilion DV7 4071nr Nootbook lab top. example, I took my lab top apart to see where to connect the hard drive cable too my mother board, It has an extrea drive port, but it's nothing like the 1st hard drive cable connection port. "Its just like the {disk drive}

connection port to my mother board . I'am i suppose to connect my  2nd hard drive cord to this extra disk drive port. -is this port just *ONLY meant for disk drives. (is this port  universal) I have no manual and can't find out. so I'm reaching out in the hope's that someone can explain to me why i have two hard drive's and not two exact same slot's, in the same area to connect the hard drive cable too. thank you
