Product: Example: Pavilion Dv6-7073ca
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion DV6 7073ca

Last week my charger stopped working, so I got a new one but it won't charge when the laptop is ON. Also when the charger is on it creates other problems like mouse keeps on jumping like it can't stay at one place. I changed charge one more time but nothing changed.

 

Is it a problem with Hardware in my Laptop or my charger or is it something else? Please Advice me on what to do.

Have you purchased the charger from HP?

Is the new charger of the same power capacity?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.
