Help to disable touchpad on new laptop

Hi @Helen75

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the steps to disable the touchpad. 

 

Let's try these steps -

 

1.) Click on the Start or the Windows icon.

2.) Click on Settings

3.) Click on Devices

4.) Click on Touchpad.

5.) Toggle the switch to disable the touchpad.
