Does HP 15-ay85nr Laptop have TPM 2.0?

If you do not see a security devices category in the device manager with a TPM 2.0 security device listed there, then your notebook does not have a TPM 2.0 security chip.

If you were wanting to know this in order to upgrade the notebook to W11, your notebook's processor does not meet Microsoft's minimum hardware requirements of needing an Intel 8th generation core or newer processor.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2/22H3.

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

When W11 24H2 comes out, things have changed a bit, so watch this video for how to update your W11 23H2 installation to 24H2.

You might even be able to use this video to upgrade from W10 to 23H2.
