Does HP Pavilion 360 come with Office? Sam’s Club told me ‘yes’, HP says yes,1-year.

Maybe this is the wrong board for my question. Got my laptop from Samsclub they told me it comes with MS office; doesn’t seem to. HP told me it comes with a one-year office free, to call Samsclub for activation code. Samsclub says to call HP for activation code. I purchased the pavilion 360 specifically so that I wouldn’t have to buy office extra. Does it or does it not come with office, other than the one month trial.

You might have been misled, albeit perhaps not intentionally.

True - when the Office software - not just a trial - comes with the computer, the license should / would normally be included in the receipts / information you receive when you purchase the computer. 

Years ago, included Office software might even have come hard-copy (on a CD) - that is not the case any longer -- the license paper might still be included, though, either in the box or with the paperwork received at purchase.

Check your machine specs - report back what you find in the Specifications.

How to find information about your computer model

Open Category Product Information > Select Topic Specifications

When the list is displayed, look for your exact model in the list.

Open the Specifications document for the computer

Look in the Software section.

1. Purchase Microsoft Office when you purchase your computer

Look for your license key with your purchase paperwork.
