Hello,

Summary: My notebook's battery drains extremely fast. Which is 2 hours on idle. And about 15% in less than 2 hours on sleep mode (modern standby with network connectivity) and then it exceeds power drain threshold at goes to hibernate which is very efficent at the terms of battery consumption because of you know, it's a literally power off state.

My problem is very self descriptive actually. And I've had this issue since the beginning. I've checked everyting. And everything seems to work just fine from my understanding. Except of course the battery issue. I have tried the following methods.

  • Updating my BIOS. Multiple times actually. I have this notebook since the first BIOS update so as a result I've tried all the versions.
  • Checking SleepStudy outputs. Which are annexed below.
  • Removing and disabling Intel ME drivers.
  • Upgrading Windows version from 10 to 11.
  • Performing a clean Windows 10 installation alongside of the existing one.
  • Booting into safe mode and being sure not a single program that installed by the user running on the background.
  • My battery health is on 98%. It's a relatively new laptop.

The issue persists on sleep state. Which is also called modern standby. Actually I've tried to switch to good ol' realiable S3 State but it seems Intel decided to remove this state from its Tiger Like processors. My sleep state config is attached if it's going to make any difference.
