Fingerprint sensor not working. How do i resolve this issue?

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Product is Envy 13 series, and suddenly the fingerprint sensor has stopped working and is only showing the pin option while logging in. Please help me in this issue.

I understand that the Fingerprint sensor not working.

 

Please provide the correct product number.

 

let's try these steps:  

  • Open the Device Manager (Windows logo key + X  and select Device Manager). 

  • Locate your fingerprint reader in the Biometric Devices section. 

  • Double-click the device to open its properties. 

  • Click Roll Back Driver. 

  • Then click OK. Restart your computer and check for the functionality.
