Try these steps:
Check Device Manager
- Open Device Manager:
- Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.
- Find HID-Compliant Touch Screen:
- Expand the Human Interface Devices section.
- Check if the HID-compliant touch screen driver is listed. If it is missing, proceed to the next steps.
Update or Reinstall Driver
- Update Driver:
- Right-click on any listed HID device and select Update Driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Reinstall Driver:
- If updating doesn't work, right-click and select Uninstall device.
- Restart your laptop to allow Windows to reinstall the driver automatically.
Run Windows Update
- Check for Updates:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click Check for updates and install any available updates. This may include the necessary touch screen drivers.
HP Support Assistant
- Download HP Support Assistant:
- If not installed, download it from HP Support.
- Install and Run HP Support Assistant:
- Launch HP Support Assistant and let it detect and install any missing drivers or updates for your device.
Download Driver from HP Website
- Visit HP Support Website:
- Navigate to HP Support.
- Enter Device Information:
- Enter your laptop's model number (HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba075tx).
- Find and Download Drivers:
- Locate the drivers section and download the latest touch screen driver if available.
Enable Touch Screen in BIOS
- Access BIOS:
- Restart your laptop and press F10 during startup to enter BIOS setup.
- Check Touch Screen Settings:
- Navigate to the System Configuration section and ensure the touch screen is enabled.
- Save changes and exit BIOS.
