HP Elite x360 1040 14 inch G9 2-in-1 Notebook PC (4C056AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I am the owner of a pretty new laptop, HP Elitebook 1040 x360 G9, Norwegian version, Windows 11, all updates.
The app HP Presence Aware (HP Auto Lock & Awake) suddenly stops working with error message: "This app is not compatible with your unit." I am not able to uninstall or reinstall the app/service. When trying I get an error message from Windows that states: "One or more customizations are not allowed by the software restriction policy."
How can I repair this situation and get the service to work as normal in my Windows 11?

I can answer this case my self: If you activate Smart App Control in Windows Security the HP Auto Lock & Awake will fail to work. Once you turn off Smart App Control the mentioned app works as normal. Case closed.
