Hi,

My Elitebook 850 G6, only recognises the Samsung SSD T5 connected to the USB-C port when the computer is restarted.  If the SSD is connected after boot, then it is not detected.   Interestingly, it works correctly when using a USB-C to USB-A converter connected to the laptop USB-C port.

 

Note - The SSD works correctly on an older Elitebook 850 G3 using USB-C port, so it's not likely to be an issue with the USB-C cable or SSD.
