I have three questions regarding my HP Envy which I recieved in September, 2016. 1) how do I find the serial number? 2) how do I correct this system error? AccelerometerStexe - System Error. MFC120U.dll is missing. 3) I have an Espon Perfection V300 Photo Scanner, it works perfectly with Windows 7 on my work laptop. I cannot get the scanner with Windows 10 to work. I am connecting the scanner via a USB. The laptop recognizes the scanner and adds it as a device. However, it does not install any drivers to make the connetion between the scanner and the laptop. I have tried multiple times to download the drivers from Epson.com and still does not work. The system is totally up to date and I know the USB works. This is driving me crazy as I need this scanner to work with this laptop.

I understand you have multiple issues with your laptop.
1. Please refer this link to know how to find the serial number: http://hp.care/2birAqW
2. To fix the error please follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned below.
Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right-click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows have reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the link below.
Again, when this has completed, restart the notebook.
3. As you mentioned that scanner drivers are not getting installed.
Unplug the scanner from your laptop.
Go to device manager.
Go to imaging devices.
Right click the scanner and click uninstall.
Restart your laptop. And install the driver using the link below.
