Is there a solution to this BIOS Problem?

F20 (available) is like rollback to F17 in many respects. Is it desirable? Hard to say, some regret getting rid of F19 since it works pretty **bleep** good with newer drivers. Up to F20 and there's no coming back. You want that?

I'd stick with F19 and install 24.20 or 25.20 drivers. That seems to be working well and it looks like your best option now.

No better solution in view at the moment. Relax and leave the BIOS alone, I'd say.

I'd go with this graphics driver (24.20): https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-db0000-laptop-pc/20395843/model/22783863?sku=...

You can download F.20 Rev.A by going to F.10 Rev.A's page, scroll down to the bottom, Expand revision history. Right click on the link next to F.20, and download.
