Hello,

I recently download a BIOS update from HP Support Assistant. Its name is "HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)", SoftPaq number is sp97157, version is F.53, and it was installed on 6/13/2020. Ever since I downloaded the update, a video game called "Minecraft" will tell me that my graphics drivers are not up to date when I try to play it. The game no longer works. Also, my touch pad is now laggy at times and my screen flickers from off to on sometimes. Prior to getting the BIOS update, these problems never happened. I decided to uninstall the BIOS update, but I soon realized it's not as simple as that. So I decided to rollback my BIOS to before I got the update. I tried following the instructions at this link to roll it back (WINDOWS key + B/V key):

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Systems-and-Recovery/Roll-back-Bios-Update/td-p/6676...

When I followed the exact instructions at this link, it did not bring me to the BIOS setup menu. The screen remained black and the power led would blink on and off. I tried the instructions 5 times to no avail.

Does my model not support Win+B keys to roll back the BIOS update?

Is there any other way to uninstall this BIOS update from HP Support Assistant?

Any help is appreciated,

Mohamed
