Hi,

New Omen Laptop and Support Assist will not complete updates. Please see below. I know all will not be relevant to my system but surely many of these should apply? Any advice appreciated.

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the updates on HP support assistant are not getting installed.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

Meanwhile, I recommend you uninstall HP support assistant and download and install it from the below link and test.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Downloaded newer version of Support Assistant and updates have now installed. Only slight issue is that Intel Chipset Utility keeps popping up even though already installed. is it ok just to delete as can be seen below?

@northstar555,

I read the post. glad to know that the issue has been resolved. As @The_Fossette is out for the day, I am responding on his behalf. Please visit http://hp.com/drivers  and follow the on-screen instructions to install the Intel chipset drivers.

Take care and have a blessed day.
