Dear HP Support,
I am currently serving as an IT Administrator for an organization with more than 400 clients. We are planning to purchase new HP notebooks for the company and have had the opportunity to test one of your HP Z Books, which we have found to be favorable.
During the testing phase, we noticed that the HP Security Browser Extension which bundled with the HP Wolf Security for Business 11.0.19.378 was installed on our browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). However, we have discovered that the HP Wolf extension is uninstalling our main browser's secure extension, which we have been using extensively.
After conducting research on the issue, we found that the Wolf extension deletes our extension registry folders in Chrome and Edge. It is not interfering with the Firefox extension since it has been written to different folders in the registry. Please find attached pictures and HP Wolf Security Logs for more information. (Logs separately sent from support tools)
Unfortunately, this has left us with no other option but to uninstall your product in order to prevent our secure browser extension from being deleted. However, this would require a significant effort on our part.
Therefore, we would greatly appreciate it if you could guide us on how to resolve this issue without having to uninstall your product and continue to use it like Firefox browser.
Thank you,
Naci
