OMEN Laptop - 15t-dh100 CTO

 

 

Hp omen seems to have stopped working -- fan does not speed up like it normally would when gaming  or when switched from AUTO to MAX 

* I have done the basics- Reinstall 

* Windows update

* I have tried to find out if there has been a bios update ( page doesnt load even after 10mins altho it says may takea up to 3mins) 

*diagnosed fans from BOOT BIOS - and they work

Hi @fikulnm,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are getting an error on your OMEN Laptop - 15t-Dh100 CTO. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

 Let's perform a hard reset:

 

  • Power off the laptop.
  • Disconnected AC adapter from the laptop.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and plug the AC adapter.
  • Power ON the laptop and check.

Update the BIOS, & Chipset drivers:

  • Here's the link to download and install the above updates: Click here

Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool and Update Windows.

  • Select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security  > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If updates are available, install them
