I’m very frustrated with HP at the moment. Sent my laptop in for repairs because one day it would not power up.
After some issues with an incorrect serial number, they finally started the repair process after 4 weeks of waiting!
Customer service is such a pain, you never get a straight answer from them. After multiple complaints I received a repair quote for a Customer Induced Damage Notification for $499! Sent me pictures of water or some other liquid droplets that they blamed for the damage. First of all, this laptop has never been off my couch and never near any other beverage other than water. Secondly, the droplets look to be dropped from above, not from a vent hole or other external opening. I spoke with a case manager regarding this matter and he was adamant this was my fault and offered a 20% discount on the repair which I declined. I have been a user of HP products for twenty plus years and have never had a worse experience than their customer service and repair service!
