HP Recommended

Hello, I am trying to connect HP thunderbolt dock G2 to a HP elitebook 840 G5. Are the two devices compatible? It is not recognising the dock as a device but is charging via the USB-C.  I have tried to install drivers but the HP page is no longer available.
