How to disable the magnetic switch that deactivates the screen when lid closed?

HP Pavilion 15 (i7-6700HQ)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I urgently have to find a way to disable the magnetic switch (in fact the magnet in the left bottom of the lid) that deactivates the screen when the lid is closed. The magnet interferes with an eye-tracker I have to use for an experiment, which must be placed precicely on the bottom part of the screen where the magnet is, and is very sensitive to magnetic fields.

I changed the energy settings so that when the lid closes NOTHING should happen (no sleep, no hybernation). But still, the magnet is functional and the screen turns off. (As you can see in the photo, a coin stays stuck on the part of the lid where the magnet is).

I would appreciate your help!
