Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my HP Pavilion DV5235ea notebook.
Motherboard: Intel 945GM.
It's using the initial flashed BIOS, Phoenix F.15 dated Aug.30th, 2006.
Since there's no support anymore for my product, can you please tell me how can I get the latest (if any) BIOS?
Thank you in advance!!

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Since HP does not supply BIOS updates for your PC anymore, I would advise against downloading such updates from other sources.
Flashing a BIOS is not like making driver or software updates in that, if you force the wrong update, your PC will be rendered totally useless!
You should leave it alone.

thank you very much for your answer.
I'm not searching from other sources to download an official BIOS that is meant to be used for the specific Laptop.
That's why I'm here, trying to find a solution, from the experts in HP.
What I want to do is to upgrade my RAMto 4Gb, and the motherboard limit is 2Gb.
So I did a little searching and googling and found out that POSSIBLY, if i flash a newer version of BIOS, 4Gb of RAM may finally be installed...
Thank you again for the time you spent....!!
