How to transfer apps and files from old laptop to to new HP

For applications, not all of them would work on your new machine due to licensing.

You can transfer files and personal data on your own; to transfer apps, you need special software.

 

Two apps that can do this are Laplink PCMover Pro and EaseUS ToDo PC Transfer -- only the PAID versions of these migrate apps; the free versions only migrate files and data.
