Pavilion dv6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a couple of old HP laptops. I went looking for the list of BIOS and drivers for them and find nothing. Previously, I could access that simply by putting in my Model or s/n. Now when I put any info into the form it comes back with "I know nothing"......... "I can't find anything for that OS" It may be looking at my system, which isn't the laptop, and saying it can't find W10 drivers. I can't go back and change the OS as it instructs me to do either.

I should still be able to access the list of drivers for an old laptop regardless of which computer I am using or which OS is on it.

How do I do it?

thank you

No, it does not have drivers for Windows 10 from HP. Please use Windows updates, the process will find suitable/compatible for your machine. By the way, what is your dv6 ? It must be dv6-something.

At the end of the day, one or two missing. Please post back which one(s) and our members here may be able to help you.

Regards.

Thanks Banhien

I am aware there are no W10 drivers for this unit. Which dv6 it is eludes me as it is at a remote location and I am teamviewing into it. The MB is a 3658. It is a gen 5 i3-330M Ironlake ( Arrandale). What I wanted to do is verify I had the latest BIOS. It is currently an F.1D. It recently updated to W10 20H2 and ALL my browsers are having a problem with hardware acceleration. I got the latest graphics update from Intel for a gen 5 CPU but it says it is not for this computer?? Windows update has a 2012 driver.

Just trying to figure out why I can't update to the latest graphic driver if it is for this CPU.
