Product: hp intel notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Everytime I press the download button on chrome nothing works, I don't get a message or anything. It's not available in the app store on my computer either and my computer is not in s mode. I've tried to look up any solution I can find, nothing works. Is there anything else I can do?

Yes -- you could try using another Browser.

 

The new Edge is based on Chromium, so it is very similar to Chrome.

 

Also, you could try using FireFox or Opera -- both of them work well in Windows 10.
