I need the num lock and caps lock on screen notification turned on in Windows 11 Enterprise as there is no LED to confirm if Num lock keypad is turned On/Off which was available in Windows 11 Home Single Edition and no option anywhere to turn it On.

Hi @Siddharam,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to enable the on-screen notifications for the Num Lock and Caps Lock keys on your HP Laptop (15s-eq0024au) with Windows 11 Enterprise, you can try the following options:
Option 1: Enable On-Screen Notifications via Keyboard Software
HP laptops often use software to manage keyboard on-screen indicators. If your laptop supports this:
- Install HP System Event Utility (if it's not already installed):
- Download it from the official HP website: HP System Event Utility.
- After installation, restart your computer.
This utility should provide on-screen notifications for Num Lock, Caps Lock, and other keyboard-related functions.
Option 2: Using Windows Settings
If the above utility doesn't work or is not available:
- Ease of Access Settings:
- Go to Settings → Accessibility.
- Scroll down to the Keyboard section.
- Turn on the toggle for Toggle keys. This will play a sound when you press Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock.
Unfortunately, Windows 11 does not have a built-in visual notification for these keys, but enabling sounds can help indicate when they're activated or deactivated.
Option 3: . Using HP's On-Screen Display (OSD) Utility
HP laptops have a built-in On-Screen Display (OSD) feature that shows notifications when Caps Lock or Num Lock is toggled. To check if your laptop has this feature:
- Open HP Support Assistant or download it from HP Support Assistant
- Search for and install HP System Event Utility or HP On-Screen Display Utility, if available.
- Restart your computer, and you should see on-screen indicators when toggling Caps Lock and Num Lock.
Refer to this document: HP Laptop - 15s-eq0024au User manual
HP PCs - Using HP Support Assistant (Windows)
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
