I purchased a care plan with my hp laptop purchase. Does it cover accidental damage?

HP Recommended

display has gone funny on my laptop bottom of screen and far right is all blurry and mouse wont travel over that far.  I have a 3 year care plan purchased at the time of purchase will this be covered?  Not sure how it has occurredw wether it has been dropped
