Product: HP convertible laptop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have online ordered HP 14-dw1040TU Pavilion x360 convertible laptop. The received product is HP Pavilion x360 convertible 14-dw1xxx and Device name DESKTOP-OO6S2FP.
Are both the same product? Please help.

You supply 3 things
- DESKTOP-OO6S2FP: this nothing to do with HP, Windows put it for "fun" you can Rename it
- 14-dw1xxx: this is a series or family of your machine, xxx can be from 000aa to 999zz
- HP 14-dw1040TU: this is the REAL model/product of your machine, its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06989022
When using HP Support Assistant (HPSA), you can also find product id of your machine: 2R2H7PA#something. (something normally is 3 characters for country or region code).
Your machine is genuine. You can use its s/n to check. HPSA also shows its s/n.
Regards.
