Issues with HP pavillion X360 14-cd0006cn and HP 1MR94AA pen

Hi, I recently bought a second-hand HP laptop for my sister and she wants to start using the HP pen. Unfortunately, we can't seem to be able to download the corresponding app from the Microsoft store, because it claims to be incompatible with the device. I checked the pen compatibility and it should work fine. Without the app the pen is only a stylus and the active component is unusable.

What is part # of your pen ? Your machine is compatible with part # 910942-001 which is a Stylus (active pen in Pike silver ƭnish)

Hi,

Thank you for the response, after a quick Google search it looks like the pen you mentioned is identical with the one I have. Same looks and the same SPEN-HP-01 marking like the one on amazon.

Hi, I just checked and it is the exact same one. Why would Microsoft store say the app is not compatible then?
