Keyboard and Trackpad doen't work together.

HP Recommended
Hp Envy 13 d015TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Recently i have a noticed one issue with my Hp Envy laptop.

I started playing Counter Strike, unfortunately i did't had mouse at that point so i started using trackpad.

When i was moving my bot using keyboard it was moving but when i started giving directions to my bot using trackpad it didnt move in that direction. Weird!

I started noticing it and tried so many time but no success.

I opened notepad and started typing something and tried to use the trackpad at the same time but the trackpad di not respond but when i releases the key the track pad responds.

I checked the tochpad settings and everything seems normal there.

Is there any particular setting which is not allowing me to use both together or is this a hardware issue.

I have played this game and tried using notepad  and touch pad in other laptops of Hp and other brands and it works in those laptops.

I am not sure why this is happening.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Akash

Hi @Akash_hp_envy

Welcome to the HP Forums!

This is a wonderful place to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips.

I saw your post and I understand that you are unable to use the touchpad and the keyboard at the same time.

Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

1) On the system tray, click the pointing device / touchpad icon, and select Pointing Device Properties.
2) Click the "Device Settings" tab.
3) Select your touchpad
4) Click Settings.
5) Expand Pointing
6) Expand Sensitivity
7) Select Palm Check
8) Adjust the sensitivity slider until you can move the mouse while pressing one of the walk keys.
9) Click OK twice.

Please post your results, as I will be looking forward to hearing from you.

Good day! Take care!

Cheers!
