Resource monitor v1.pngMy laptop started to slow down considerably and after reviewing constant RAM usage, I increased the Ram from 4 to 12 GB. However I do not see any noticeable performance change. I have also reinstalled Windows 10 and have no software other than Windows itself in my laptop. The system performs very slow with just the plain OS. Now I have installed Excel and it has only become slower.

On boot, the CPU and disk is generally high over 90%. Please guide on what can be done to improve the system performance.

Is AMD A6 sufficient to run basic home tasks?
