Hi @Namrita25,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I’m sorry you’re going through this; I understand the concern and don’t worry I’ll help you with this.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  1. When you open Office apps (like Word or Excel), what exact message appears asking for Microsoft 365?
  2. Have you recently reinstalled Windows or Office, or performed a major update?
  3. Can you confirm if you are signing in with the same Microsoft account that was originally used to activate Office 2019?
  4. Did you ever see a product key for Office 2019 when you first set up the laptop?

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check Office activation status

  • Open any Office app → Go to File → Account → Product Information
  • Check if it says Office 2019 Home & Student – Activated or prompts for a subscription.

2. Sign in with the correct Microsoft account

  • If Office was linked to your Microsoft account, make sure you are signed in with the same account used when activating Office 2019.

3. Use the original product key

  • If you have a product key from when you purchased the laptop, you can try reactivating Office 2019:

4. Repair Office

  • Go to Settings → Apps → Apps & Features → Microsoft Office → Modify → Online Repair
  • This can sometimes restore activation information.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster!

Take care and have an amazing day ahead!
