Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

This is a brand new machine. It has accepted my wife's email address but the Mail page shows a message 'no new mail' which isn't true. so we need to find out why incoming and outgoing mail is being blocked

Since you are running Win10 in S mode, you are limited to using Windows Store apps.

You would have to contact your email provider to find out specifically what settings you need to have with those apps to work properly with their email server.

Talktalk are the the company I deal with. Windows Mail worked fine on my wife's old Toshiba laptop but this machine , though it displays the Windows page, keeps putting up a message saying that no new mail has arrived which we know not to be the case. Otherwise no problems with accessing the internet etc. Thanks for your reply but this is a Windows app I am trying to Make work.
