Hi Team,

I am facing this issue for such a long time. My laptop whenever the battery percentage reduces from 40% it starts to get lag a lot. I won't be able to play any video. I get some cracking noise from the speakers. I won't be able to work on anything. Then if I connect it to my charger then it works smoothly.

I followed this link and updated the NVidia Drivers

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/My-Games-Lag-When-Not-Plugged-In/td-p/5973626#:~:text....

But still, I am facing the same problem.  It's like after 40% of battery life I won't be able to use my PC at all.

Please guide me on how to fix this issue.

Most likely, there is no actual "fix" for this issue.

Batteries lose the ability to retain charges over time, so most likely, when yours hits 40%, it's not able to hold enough charge anymore to properly power the laptop.

You could look into replacing the battery, but there is no guarantee that will fix this.
