My laptop suddenly shows an extra drive by the name local disk (Z:)

HP Notebook 14-ac159nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop suddenly shows an extra drive by the name of local disk (Z:). I can't open it to see what is in it.  It shows as 192 MB free of 265 MB. I dont want to delete it in case it is needed for some reason. Recently just had a BIOS update.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Please do not worry about it. The Windows updating process created it, it should be hidden and it will go away after updating process completed. I think Microsoft should tell users about this.

Regards.
