LIke a lot of people, I have an issue following an upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10.

The touchscreen has stopped working. The driver is not even appearing under Device Manager.

Its a 64 bit laptop. Can someone please send me a link to download the driver together with instructions.

Don't worry, I'm here to help! 

 

Let's try these steps to update the computer -

 

Step 1 Windows Updates troubleshooter - 

 

Click on this link to run Windows Updates troubleshooter.

 

Step 2 Windows Updates - 


1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer. 

 

Step 3 HP Support Assistant Updates - 


1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
2) Check for updates. 
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
