Came home from vacation to an auto-updated Windows 10 which left my old computer in such a state that it froze and had to be cold-rebooted every time it went to sleep or a screen saver started.
Rolled back to a previous version and MS Office 2007 disappeared (no surprise, it was not on the list of apps that would be lost in the roll-back). Microsoft denies service-says to contact manufacturer. Manufcturer denies support as computer is beyond warranty. The computer otherwise works fine and Office has been paid for. I just want a download link that works with my Product key.

This matter is resolved.
HP would not assist, but they gave me a different number for Microsoft than what I had (1-800-642-7676).
After an hour of live people, dispite my protestations, repeatedly kicking me into an automated system that required me to either pay $60, subscribe to a help service or go back to online self-help, I was finally helped by a guy that took the time to use remote access to dig into the system and look for an old Office Key that may have been lurking. I don't know if he found it or not, but he remotely instsalled Office 10, for which I am very grateful.

All I can suggest is to see if Paul Tikkanen's suggestion works: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/Re-Install-Microsoft-Office-2007...
