I have a cheap laptop I got in college. My daughter broke the screen about 2 years ago but I use my tv as a display. We got internet in our new house and decided to finally update the systems (didn’t have internet at our old house.) I do a factory reset and then do the start up for the windows 10 update. It asks me to delete the graphics driver so it can install a new one/updated version. I click ok. Screen goes black and I leave it overnight and half the next day thinking it’s doing it’s thing. I turn it on that evening and won’t connect to the screen and keeps shutting itself off after a few moments. I leave it again til the next evening. Try it again. Still won’t display or connect on anything. Tried all the boot keys and display settings. Still nothing. It turns on (the screen is broken and can’t see,) but everything lights up and you can hear it working. It’s only a $100 laptop and I don’t want to take it to be worked on bc the shop in town is crazy expensive. Is there anything else I can do?
