Welcome to HP Forums! I have read your post and wanted to help.

 

I understand that the laptop starts with black screen and blinking LED.

The "http://HP%20Notebook%20PCs%20-%20Computer%20Does%20Not%20Start%20and%20Emits%20an%20LED%20or%20Beep%20Code" message I rec'd to help goes to the "about blank" where there is nothing. ! So....thanks for nothing.
