Not all biases have advanced settings.  Typically advanced settings are used to set memory speed and enable XMP memory performance options.

When you got your new M .2 you should have cloned your old drive to it.

You can always do a cloud restore on your system with the new drive installed

HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10 and 11)

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool is an application developed by HP.  It enables customers to access a digital download of their recovery media and create a bootable USB drive (Minimum 32GB) to recover their units back to factory status.

Download tool here  Microsoft Store

You will need a 32GB flash drive and an hour or more

Every other board or manufacturer allow the owner to see advanced settings.

when I install a new drive I shouldn’t have to clone it.

why is the system not detecting the new drive?

I always install new windows from my memory stick to the new drive.
