ON my hp laptop. Numbers five and six. I have to type.

For about the last month or so. My hp laptop. When i press number keys. Five and six. My laptop will not let me do it. I have to type five and six.

• Was there any recent update on the PC?
• Are all the drivers on HP Support Assistant up to date?

While you respond to that please try the below steps:

Update the BIOS & Keyboard drivers to resolve this issue

Hi, Andy.

I did try the [how to download, install and use hp support assistant] [windows. I tryed that several times and updated that. So far no luck. Will try the other things later on and will keep you updated.

I just read doing a bios update is risky.

To answer your question: BIOS Update is not risky. Please make sure you follow the document correctly to update the BIOS.
