Omen gaming hub doesnt show any of my games or anything in the my games tab but keeps sending notification that says Update: 2048 games has been added. I dont even see a nvidia now games or anything at all. I reinstalled windows and downloaded gaming hub from microsoft store but the issue still presists. Is it me only problem or the software is broken?

Hi @Asvrozen_1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering a glitch with the Omen Gaming Hub. The issue you're describing, where the software isn't showing your games but still sends notifications about added games, could be due to a few potential causes. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

Check for Updates

  • Ensure that both Omen Gaming Hub and your graphics drivers (especially for NVIDIA) are fully up-to-date.
  • Go to Omen Gaming Hub settings and check for any available updates within the software itself.

Reinstall Omen Gaming Hub

  • Uninstall Omen Gaming Hub completely, then restart your PC.
  • Download and install the latest version directly from the HP website or Microsoft Store.
  • After reinstalling, launch the app and check if the games appear.

Check Folder Paths

  • Omen Gaming Hub may not be detecting your games if they're stored in a non-default location.
  • Ensure your games are installed in a standard folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86) or C:\Games) and not on an external or secondary drive that could be causing detection issues.

Log Out and Log In

  • Try logging out of your Omen Gaming Hub account and logging back in to reset the connection with the cloud service. Sometimes syncing issues can cause the game list to fail to load properly.

Rebuild the Database

  • Some users have resolved similar issues by clearing the app's cache or rebuilding its database. You might find this option under settings, or it may require deleting specific cache files manually (usually in the app's installation folder).

Check for System Compatibility

  • Since you reinstalled Windows, double-check your system's hardware configuration and ensure that Game Mode is turned on in Windows settings. Also, check that your NVIDIA drivers are installed correctly and match your hardware specs.

Try NVIDIA GeForce Experience

  • If the issue persists and it’s affecting your ability to launch or manage games, try using NVIDIA GeForce Experience as an alternative to manage and launch games. It integrates well with NVIDIA hardware and could bypass some of the issues you’re facing with Omen Gaming Hub.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
