HP Recommended

The laptop I own has a backlit keyboard but does not have a specific key to turn it on and off. 2 years ago I turned the backlight off via the BIOS menu, but right now I can not turn it back on because there is no "advanced tab" on said menu. How do I turn it on? I tried resetting BIOS settings to factory defaults and it did not work.
