How to play blu-ray DVD on Envy 17t?

Blue-ray and DVD are different format disks -- to play both of them, your DVD player has to support both.

 

For a video player that will allow you to see both, try this:  https://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Thanks.  The disc drive in my Envy 17 has only one laser.  A player that plays both Blu Ray and regular DVDs has two lasers.  So  playing Blu Rays on my computer may not be possible.
