Please, HP let us undervolt our machines.

Product: Spectre x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear HP, please release a BIOS version for our TigerLake Spectres and all future CPUs that can allow us to undervolt them.

The current machine I have (Spectre x360 13t 2in1 i7-1165G7) can not even sustain continuous 15w due to absolutely underwhelming cooling system and every little bit should help.

 

If you are concerned about users messing up their machines, make it a support page download only, so users have to fish for it.

Or make advanced users request it or something, so average consumer that has no experience or clue doesn't mess up their machine.

I'd gladly waive my manufacturers warranty for this ability also.
