Please Help me to find driver for HP DV5 1099RN

Can't find the driver for this model HP DV5 1099RN.

Can anyone help me and send me the link for this driver.

From what I can tell, that model came with Win7 preloaded -- and HP does not supply Win10 drivers for that model.

However, there are others here that have access to drivers I do not have, so they might be able to point you to some drivers.

IF not, you are stuck because the really old Win7 laptops don't work well on Win10 due to lack of drivers.

HP only developed Windows Vista and Windows 7 drivers for the dv5-1xxx model series.

Please post the hardware ID's for the devices that need drivers, and I will post the links to the W7 drivers you need.

Most of them should work on W10.

You are missing drivers such as the card reader and a couple of other devices.

Thank you so much! It works with my windows 10 enterprise, I just change the compatibility to windows XP. 😊

This Old DV5 1099RN is still providing my basic needs!
