Please how do i scan a document and copy and paste it on microsoftword to edit what is writing on

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2135
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I want to Know how to scan a document and edit it, whenever i scan it comes as image and there is no place for doc. am connected to my HP throug USB cable.

Hi,

 

For your printer, you can't. You need to buy an OCR (Optical character recognition) to be able to scan as editable documents or text.

 

Please try the following free software:

 

   http://free-ocr-to-word.en.softonic.com/
   http://www.free-ocr.com/

Do you have MS Word 2007 or later on your machine ? If yes, you may be able to scan using Word.
