Hi there,

Today - whilst charging my laptop - I noticed that my laptop was not charging as it should, and was displaying the 'plugged in, not charging' message.

This has happened before, but normally resolves itself after I unistalled the battery related things on the device manager, and restarted my laptop. This time, however, I have done this about 5/6 times, changing the order I have taken the charger and/or battery out of my laptop each time. However, no luck - it still is not charging.

I have ran the HP battery check about 10 times - twice it said it needed replacing, the other 8 it says that it was ok.

I have noticed that when my laptop is plugged into the wall, the LED light is at times red (I think - I am colourblind!) and at other times a light blue (again, I think!) - I do not know if this is significant?

Any advice as to how I could sort this out would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Ed
