So i like to play games on the pc and ive been having issues with a shortcut/hotkey. My pc has a shortcut/hotkey that shutdowns my screen and gives me a pop up saying check hdmi in cable. The shortcut/hot key is (ctrl + shift+ s + d) and i use those keys often while playing games so my pc keeps crashing. Does someone have a way to disable this since its a big problem for me and it doesnt let me play games.

Hi @Ibaad_kazi,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there might be a conflict between the "ctrl + shift + s + d" shortcut/hotkey and the HDMI input notification on your HP Pavilion All-in-One 27-inch PC. This could be causing your screen to shut down and interrupt your gaming sessions.
To resolve this issue, you have a few options.
Change the shortcut/hotkey: Check if you can customize or disable the "ctrl + shift + s + d" shortcut/hotkey in the settings of the application or software that is triggering it. If you are using a specific game launcher or gaming software, explore its settings to see if you can change or disable the shortcut.
Update or disable the HDMI input notification: If the pop-up message about checking the HDMI input is coming from your computer's display driver or a specific application, try updating the display driver or looking for settings related to the HDMI notification. If it's not essential for you, you might consider disabling the HDMI input notification altogether.
Disable the built-in shortcut: If the "ctrl + shift + s + d" shortcut/hotkey is built into the system and can't be changed or disabled through the application settings, you might need to disable it at the system level. Here's how you can do it:
a. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
b. Type "control keyboard" (without quotes) and press Enter.
c. In the Keyboard Properties window that opens, go to the "Key Settings" tab.
d. Find the "ctrl + shift + s + d" shortcut in the list and click on it.
e. Click the "Change Key Sequence" button.
f. Choose "Not Assigned" and click "OK" to disable the shortcut.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
