Request for Battery Charge Limit Feature on HP OMEN 16

Hello,

I own an HP OMEN 16-xf0xxx laptop and I would like to limit the battery charge to 80% in order to preserve its long-term health.

Unfortunately, on my model:

• The Battery Health Manager option is not available in the BIOS, even after updating.

• The OMEN Gaming Hub software does not provide any setting to limit battery charge.

• Third-party apps like Battery Limiter or BatteryCare do not physically stop the charging process — they only give alerts.

I've also noticed that when the battery reaches or stays at 100% for an extended period, its maximum capacity decreases faster. This indicates battery stress and accelerated wear, which is concerning.

I’m requesting an official solution from HP to:

• Limit the battery charge to 80% (or a defined threshold),

• Or activate a hidden option like Battery Health Manager,

• Or provide alternative supported tools or firmware for this purpose.
