I currently have a monitor which displays my share trading system, whilst I use my laptop screen for emails, spreadsheets etc. I am about to begin an online  bookkeeping course , and was considering adding another monitor( if possible) to display and complete my assignments. I need to constantly monitor my share trading screen , thus the desire to add another monitor. My laptop only has one HDMI port , three type A USB ports , 1x2 .0and 2x 3.0 .

I am not a computer giant, so please express solutions in plain man english.

Many thanks in anticipation

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

Regards.
